Syd is an artist-designer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, working at the intersection of function and aesthetic.

 

With a background in engineering and a self-taught  practice, she builds functional pieces from salvaged and repurposed materials, often finished in her signature paper maché. Her work emphasizes structural ingenuity and material reinvention, turning cast-off objects into bold, tactile forms that bridge utility and art.
